paris for the olympics
paris for the olympics!! crazy right? it was such a once in a lifetime chance, i knew when my aunt and uncle asked if i wanted to tag along i would be crazy if i didn’t say yes. even though ive been to paris many a time, I couldnt be the girl who didnt go to paris (im talking to you lauren conrad). my uncle’s parents have an apartment in paris and let my twin aunts and their husbands and one of their babies and me come with (free babysitter during olympic events but trip of a lifetime included) and we stayed in their beautiful french apartment in the 5th arrondissement. we got to shop, sightsee in an essentially empty paris (all the locals left town to avoid the tourists), went to muse de orsay, saw a few olympic events in the streets, and my favorite moment, seeing the US beat the French team for mens beach volleyball.
